Cagrilintid ist ein synthetisches Analogon des Peptidhormons Amylin. Es bindet sowohl an Amylin- als auch an Calcitonin-Rezeptoren und unterscheidet sich damit im Rezeptorprofil von den GLP-1-Analoga, mit denen es in Studien häufig kombiniert untersucht wird.
Cagrilintide is a synthetic acylated analogue of amylin with activity at amylin-receptor and calcitonin-receptor complexes. Clinical combination programmes with GLP-1 receptor agonists are scientific context and do not establish the identity, suitability or performance of this research batch.
