Epithalon ist ein synthetisches Tetrapeptid aus Alanin, Glutaminsäure, Asparaginsäure und Glycin. Es wurde als synthetisches Gegenstück zu einem Extrakt der Zirbeldrüse entwickelt und gehört zu den am längsten untersuchten kurzen Peptiden.
Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide of alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine. It was developed as a synthetic counterpart to a pineal gland extract and is among the longest-studied short peptides.
